I wasn’t sure we could find someone to replace Dr. Stallings when he retired, but Dr. List has been wonderful. Dr. List has been our family dentist since his first year in Durham. He took care of all of our family needs and never once did we have a bad experience. I would recommend Dr. List to anyone without hesitation.

I am a patient of Dr. Ellis List, DDS. I moved from another state to the Durham NC area about five years ago. I did not have a dentist so I returned to my home state on a couple of occasions to have dental services. Eventually, an acquaintance recommended Dr. List and I made an appointment to see him. The appointment is where I begin the review of Dr. List’s professional services. The phone was immediately answered and my initial appointment was made by a courteous and professional office staffer. When I came to the office for the first time, I was welcomed, registered, and directed to the hygiensit who inspected, cleaned, xrayed and recorded her findings. After reporting her findings to Dr. List, he examined me and gave me his plan of treatment. My subseqent visits gave me more confidence in and noticeable benefits from his expertise. I am his patient.

I had heard great things about this office but I was blown away by how wonderful they really are. Everyone, from the front desk to the back, were incredibly sweet. I took my 2 year old to them and they took amazing care of him. He was so at ease with them that he sat there and did everything they asked. My 8 year old also enjoyed the experience.

Let’s face it, no one likes to go to the dentist, but I must say I love the folks at Dr. List–when they told me I couldn’t have a cleaning appointment on a certain date– my bad for the cancellation– I almost cried. yes, cried! But they fit me in and I was thrilled. Ida M. is simply the best dental hygienist I have ever had. They truly know how to make me feel engaged and empowered about my own dental health and Dr. List always explalins what he’s doing and why so I feel I am having a dialogue about an aspect of my helath that often gets ignored. Way to go, Team List!

” I had fallen and hit my front tooth when I was in college and it died and needed a root canal. I did not put a crown on it at the time even though I was told that the tooth can weaken without it. Well. as time passed, I started to notice tiny cracks in the enamel and it started to get darker than my other teeth. I hated the way it looked so at my last check up appointment, I told Dr. List I was ready to put a crown on this tooth. I knew it needed to be done and had been postponing doing it because I was worried how it would look. Well, I trust Dr. List and he promised a great outcome and he was right. His team was so nice during the process. I’m happy I had Dr. List fix this tooth.

“I jsut recently had 2 wisdom teeth extrated. I had some apprehension prior to having it done. However, it was painless and quick and my recovery has gone well. For one day, I used Tylenol and Ibuprofen, but since that time I haven’t used any medication. The staff was frienly, professional, and caring. I have also recommended this office to my wife as well.”
